DNA Labs Ltd, a Biotechnology company registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), and Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with RC No 1027690 whose principal objectives include specialized diagnostics and Research support. DNA Labs is the first private Lab in Nigeria that was approved by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) to run COVID-19 test by Real time PCR and accredited by MLSCN. The first private laboratory in the country to be given approval by the NCDC to carryout Covid-19 testing. We have laboratories in five major cities across Nigeria including Kano, Kaduna, Port-Harcourt, Lagos and our headquarters in Abuja, in addition we also have COVID-19 sample collection centers in 34 of the 36 states in the country. We have real time PCR machines necessary for COVID-19 testing. We have the experience, equipment and biosafety containment to process and run as many as 5,000 samples daily.Furthermore, we have been testing Lassa fever and nearly 120 other infectious agents over the past 10 years. We have a staff complement of over 50 professionals and we are well equipped. We have aided more than 4000 students in their thesis in PCR over the past 10 years.
