Soccer fans: do you support home team or adopted country?

fmc80

Are you a Soccer fan?
Are you supporting your 'home' team rather than you adopted country's team?
Have they qualified for the World Cup?
If so please read onÂ….

My name is Fiona Crack and I work for the BBC. I'm working on a special programme that will include fans from as many nations as possible who are competing in the world cup. I'm very keen to approach you - the ex-pat communities - in Jo'berg that are planning to follow their national team in their adopted country and am keen to highlight the multi-cultural nature of the city.
The BBC is hosting an event from 6.30-9.30pm on Thursday 10th June in Soweto to launch a new global interactive sports and news programme.
Its a fan based debate and discussion which will be live daily on the global news of the BBC. We will be enjoying African food and several local bands, maybe some Castle beer, you will be required to wear your country's colours, make some noise and to talk to fans from all over the world, on the eve of the world cup!
Please email me for further information or to get on the guest list (you must be on the guest list to get in!) fiona.crack@bbc.co.uk. Thanks very much
