Hi all,
ive not posted on this forum before.
i plan to retire soon, and would be grateful for some info if anyone can provide?
i fly a microlight aircraft in the uk, and wonder whether my running  tourist flights in mauritius might be viable. i know theres an operation using sea ultralights in the northwest, but if anyone knows for instance if flying for profit ok for ukPPL's, if uk PPL acceptable for mauritian authorities, airspace restriction in mauritius, etc? any info gratefully recieved.

Hi Dave

I think you are venturing into something quite complex with out a CPL(Commercial Pilots License) but maybe get hold of the Mauritian DCA and chat to them or get hold of the guys in the North.

Sorry not much advice but good luck

I think you need a tourist operators certificate/licence also

Which is $$$$

the Mauritian Flying association/aeroclbu airport were quite helpful last time i contacted them.

From memory (it was a while ago) i need to convert my Australia PPL to Mauritian. It involved a few exams etc.

Cheers,
