Free test for SMP, SMK, SMP English teachers

Fred

This is for some research I'm conducting at the moment and the test will help you understand what, if any, problems you have with the spoken word.

The only information I require is:
Where you grew up
At what age you started to learn English
The town (not the school) you teach in
Type of school (SMK, SMP, SMA)

I don't want any contact details, or even your full name, just a Youtube video (focused on your lips rather than full face) of you reading out a set of phases I will post here.

Totally free, no personal details, and no further contact with silly sales calls or other spam, just a little mutual help.

Send me a PM or just post on this thread but absolutely no full names or any contact details outside the confines of this forum, please.

Just say it slowly and carefully with your phone's camera aimed at your lips. To get accurate results, make the recording without any practice or discussion with anyone.

If you feel shy, send the Youtube link by PM and I'll reply in the same way.

That's the link, Fred.

Fred

Because you only have a few posts the link is under review. Could you send by PM, please?

Fred

Got it. Will report back by PM for privacy when I get back from shopping.

PM sent. I have to say, your English is generally better than most of the SMK teachers I've recorded so far.

If any other SMP/A/K teachers would like to do this, please feel free to send me a Youtube link (Camera aimed at your lips), but please add the following info:

Where you grew up
When you first started to learn English
The type of school you teach at (SMK N etc.)
The town you teach in.

No personal information, names, or contact details, please.

You may send the link via PM and I'll reply in the same way in order to protect your privacy.

I learned English since I was 4 years old.
Mamah said I started reading since I was 3 years old.
My curiousity is quite high about new things.
I grow up in Jambi, well this is not my hometown eventhough I was born here.
I'm mixed, my great grandfather was Turkish.
Jambi needs more English native speakers.
Unfortunately, this big province doesn't  have many tourism spots as other provinces that exist in Sumatera Island, I can say.
As I know, if you spot any westerners or any foreigners in Jambi, I would probably say it's  my lecturers who bring them here, most of them.
Lil bit sad. Fact tells.

I will suggest my fellow teacher coworkers and friends to contact you.
I will try. You know, English is really foreign language here. You only find English subject in 2 National Schools in Jambi in primary school level.
But most of private schools [chinese owners] enact English as their second language or third language after Mandarin, I would say.
