Quiet group

petrih

I wonder why this °µÍø½ûÇø group is so quiet.
There is millions of °µÍø½ûÇøs in the Philippines but still only few daily posts can be seen here.

That's sad, I hope this group would be more active.

I agree with ur point.Everyone is busy with his/her daily problems.
Typing few words seem like a big task for them.

A regular assembly might help so people can block a specific day of every month for meet-ups.

Venue and cost might be another issue but if some people might be kind enough to sponsor or throw a house party then all we need to worry is show up. =)

When there is a monthly event going then that will create a buzz before and after the event.

Then when people start to get to know each other, discussions would come in more naturally, i hope.

I'm blabbing now. Sorry. :)

Nice suggestion, Markenji. I do have an event at Eastwood for all singles out there. Food, venue, fun games and talk show plus good music are all settled and for free. When I get the date which might be pinned around the 1st quarter of next yr I'll post it here. And hope that you all would mark that date down and join. :D

Well, i'm quite new to this °µÍø½ûÇø. I'm Carson, I'm a Filipino raised in Dubai in a multicultural settings. I was influenced strongly by the British, American, Arabic, South African cultures. I can speak different languages. I haven't been here in the Philippines for almost 15 years. I'm trying to set my own pace here. I would love to meet different people from different cultures. It's very awkward things to say, I'm a Filipino with global perspectives. I'm viewing the world in a global way. Forgive me for that for not being too patriotic, I know it's bizarre but you can't blame me. Those cultures mentioned above are the cultures I grew up with. I love football, rugby, braai, and a lot of things. Looking forward to meet some people who do understand me! Cheers everyone!

I don't think that's a problem since a lot of Filipinos now have the same perspective as you have. We are more open to cultural differences, since BPOs have invaded the country- we're embracin' and luvin' it!

Anyway, I think you can start a new thread where you can introduce yourself and people can ask questions to get to know you more.  You'd be surprised at how many contact requests you'll get. Cheers and goodluck! :)
