"I loved her first"

funnybear92

I came across that song today, what a mellifluous song!
Click this link to listen to it:

" And I knew the first time I saw you with her
It was only a matter of time

I loved her first, I held her first
And a place in my heart will always be hers
From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep

And I prayed that she'd find you someday
But it's still hard to give her away
I loved her first

From the first breath she breathed
When she first smiled at me
I knew the love of a father runs deep..."

and I miss daddy so much...

How you can describe a fathers love for his daughter...

Hope you enjoy it!

My favorite all the time! I came across this songs 5 years ago and you know what half of views of this song on YouTube is mine !

I am also so into the song about love b/t father and son called "I love you enough to let you go". Again another fav of mine. You can check it out

"I Love You Enough To Let You Go"

I've rehearsed this day a thousand times
I've played this scene out in my mind
You spread your wings, you need to fly
It breaks my heart to say goodbye
These arms of mine wanna pull you close
But I love you enough to let you go

My mind goes back to memories
Of pony rides upon my knee
First day of school, your brand new bike
And football games on Friday nights
And through the years I've watched you grow
And I love you enough to let you go

Don't look back when you drive away
I don't wanna change your mind
I know in all your eighteen years
You've never seen your daddy cry

Sometimes somehow without good music life is just existence !

This song is old but it sums up my last marriage.....

I've made a small fortune and you squandered it all
You shamed me till I feel about one inch tall
But I thought I loved you and I hoped you would change
So I gritted my teeth and didn't complain.

Now you come to me with a simple goodbye
You tell me you're leaving but you won't tell me why
Now we're here at the station and you're getting on
And all I can think of is thank God and Greyhound you're gone.

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone
I didn't know how much longer I could go on
Watching you take the respect out of me
Watching you make a total wreck out of me
That big diesel motor is a-playing my song
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone.

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone
I didn't know how much longer I could go on
Watching you take the respect out of me
Watching you make a total wreck out of me
That big diesel motor is a playing my song
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone.

Oh, thank God and Greyhound you're gone
That load on my mind got lighter when you got on
That shiny old bus is a beautiful sight
With the black smoke a rolling up around the tail lights
It may sound kinda cruel but I've been silent too long
Thank God and Greyhound you're gone.

Thank God and Greyhound you're gone...
