Thanks goodness I found this... so this is for Singapore(an) getting working in Vietnam.
Can anyone confirm does COC need to be notarize?
How much does it cost to legalize per 1 document at the Singapore's vietnam embassy?

wasted another trip to Vietnam embassy in Singapore....
========
Lesson learnt:
I though SG govt issued documents (such as COC, NTU/NUS Degree, Birth/Marriage cert) only need to be legalized by Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) and then we can bring it to Viet Embassy...
Unfortunately no...every document that is to be legalized by Vietnam embassy has to be notarized with a pretty red ribbon..
FYI, estimated cost as of writing is about SGD $321 per document.
Breakdown as below:
$86 - Notarize fee to the lawyer/public notary
$85 - legalized fees to SAL which the law firm will collect on behalf
150.00 - Vietnam embassy legalization fees.
@Joey_Joey I guess that's valid for all Vietnamese embassies, because I had the same problem with the VN embassy back in my home country.
They will not legalize any document unless it has a recognizable stamp from a notary public on it plus one from the respective foreign affairs (like SAL)..
