I live in Puerto Plata and just rented an apartment for 6 months furnished with a contract. I rented through FACEBOOK MARKET PLACE. They seem to be the best and easiest to me. Just keep in mind that pictures do lie so try to see the place in person before making any agreements or sending any money.
