Hi Everyone,

I am currently int the process of apply for a potential position in tourism. I was able to find a job in this sector even though its outside my studied profession.

As a third country national in order to apply for a permit and residency I need a Job contract if I am not mistaken but when inquiring about this to the potential employer they had mentioned that I would need to apply for a temporary work visa?

I am a bit confused as the information I am finding online contradicts this as it states The work permit is issued to the employer and entitles him/her to employ the foreign worker specifically applying for the job in question yet they informed me they are unable to provide me with a contract until I have obtained this temporary work visa. Are they perhaps referring to a Visa C or D allowing entry?

Could anyone shed some light on this topic?
