Hello, sneha here,can someone tell me if it's necessary to get a medical and travel insurance before coming to France since me and my husband intend to stay for more than 3 months.

And which insurance agency is the best to be insured.

Hey Sneha, 

Yes, you'll need to get medical insurance if you'll be staying more than 3 months in France since its required for your visa.

I'd say that in your case it's best to go through a broker instead of directly through an insurance agency. You could try Global Insurance Net. I personally used them, they helped me and my family with our claims and were super friendly/reliable!

I used world nomad's travel insurance, for 3 months. It wasn't on the list, but when I mentioned that I had it, the consulate said "oh great! Let's add it to your visa request!"
