Freiburg is one of the more cosmopolitan among the small cities in Germany. So you are likely to find some Filipinos there - but probably not enough to be considered a "community".

I hope you also consider socializing with other nationalities. (How about, for example, Germans?)

Some statistics I found online says that among Freiburg's 230 000-strong population, there are about 40 000 foreigners - mostly from other European countries. Around 3000 Asians live there, of whom Japanese are the biggest group with around 300. The number of Filipinos will certainly be much lower.

The Philippines embassy in Germany lists a "Deutsch-Philippinischer Kulturverein Freiburg e.V." (see ), but they also list an organisation here in Stuttgart, which I know to have stopped working 20 years ago - so not sure how accurate this information is.
