Renting property,

Hey everyone,

So I got the job and start in June, I'm in the UK at the min but will be going back over mid May. My next step is finding somewhere permanent to live, I'm ok for the first month as I have somewhere to stay, I'm looking to rent in the San Gwann area, can anyone recommend any good letting agents and the ones I should avoid?

Nope....sorry but i dont trust any of them.... and sure couldnt and wouldnt recommend any of them..... remember to ask the awkward questions.

Look around this site a bit more, there are other posts with agency information. I can't comment on them as I got my apartment privately.

Some of the biggest are re/max, frank salt, simonmano, dhalia... but even though I have been in contact with all of them during the last weeks, I do not have enough information to say which one to trust or not. re/max and frank salt both have an office in Naxxar Road in San Gwann.

I think most people here would agree its often down to the agent more than the company. I can give you the name of the person I used (3 times) at Remax if you like.

I have 1 room apartment 42qm' in Swieqie directly to San-Gwan but 5 mnt/walk to Paceville/St.Julien end all I.S.E, EC, schools end bars(PACEVILLE)!!  large bedroom with large french iron bed,wardroobe,wall units,Chest of  drawers ,mirror,tv,etc,window to a nise quaiet park,end free parking for car!Bus station next door,

Large kitchen with new oven(2013),new fridge/freezer(2013) complete kitchen units,fuly equipped ,microwave,disches,etc,AC.internet

Bathroom completly new renovetet gest finisched this  weak with new wasching maschine,new schawer cabin,new 80/L water boiler 50%use less energy!! all buyet this weak-))

Supermarket end ather small schopps like 7&11 is next door 2 mnt/walk
the apartment is in a nise residential area very clean end quaiet!! perfekt for sameoane who want's to live for a long time
the bilding has a new modern elevetor,end up on roof can dry your cloth's or sun taking-))
the rent is 400/mnt ,extra you pay water/energy end
all this it will be depending in haw much you use all toghether aded can be (30/40/50)ER/Month's Gas botle is 20/er
the preise is only for renting 1 year!!

400er/month+400er/caution+200er/agensy fee
Total=1000er
the 400er caution you will get back after 1 year wen you leve!

Hey thanks but I will be working in swatar and have no transport so could be difficult getting back after a 11pm finish

dany30 are you an agent if you are charging €200 agensy (sic) fee?
