Laser Hair Removal Malta

FauveBloem

Hi there!

I am considering laser hair removal and I am wondering if anyone has good experiences and if so, at which salon?

I don't want IPL treatment (because I heard results with IPL are not as good as with real laser), but a lot of salons use IPL but sell it as laser.

So, if anyone knows a laser hair removal salon in Malta where they work with real laser and had good results, please let me know! If you had a bad experience I would like to hear it as well.

Thank you!

Hey hun!!!
IPL isn't very affective especially for me (black hair)  I haven't had laser here,  but had it loads in the UK,  I am pregnant at moment  but after pregnancy I did a bit of research about where I want to go.  I found this place.. Chic med aesthetic clinics.  The ratings for it are really good,  I do think it is proper laser hair removal but make sure :)  it seems to look quite good and professional. And it looks like they are done by doctors not beauty therapists so it looks like real laser. Also prices are sooo much cheaper than the UK!!! Hope this helps

Hi Andigoni!

Thank you for your reply! So, you had laser before.. how long was it effective for you before the hair came back? How often do you have to go back in general (once/twice a year)? I know it's different for everybody, but just to get an idea..

I found Chic med aesthetic clinic as well and indeed it seems a good and professional salon! Maybe I will make an appointment there! Thanks again for your reply!

Hey hun,  they advised at skin clinic to go every  3 weeks for the first 7 to get the hair into a cycle. My hair is really thick though after that and a few times after I haven't had to go for the areas for years and won't need them again in that area.  My friend went to Harley St clinic and literary went when she needed, which was every few months,  I think everyone is different,  just each time you go the hair gets much thinner and eventually doesn't grow back, but you could go and have really fast results but I'm Greek so my hair isn't like that lol :)
