It has to be done in your country of origin.

In your case Pakistan.

Thanks Saudiuk, when my family/kids visa will be processed.Yaani along with me or after i got.

Generally No.

The process is that the company sponsors you and provides a working visa, once you arrive in Saudi you then obtain an "Iqama" residence visa.

If your salary is above a certain limit and if the job profession stamped on the IQama is in the list of permissible jobs that can bring failies, you can then sponsor your own wife and family. The whole time to do all of this can be measured in weeks or months!

Moving a family out here before you are completely settled in and you are familiar with the "system" can be uncomfortable and is not advisable.

Thanks uvnpsaradhi, any idea about salary limit,i am offerred approx SR24,000 and team leader/manager is profession.one more question for kids schooling academic year when it starts? Mar/Sep.Kindly guide me about accomdation also who much is 3 bed room apartment in some good location (alwazzarat area)

@Regza: you are worried about things unnecessarily. You will get your family visa after you get your residence permit here in the Kingdom and apply for the family visa status.
ANd searching for apartments.y advice is come down here and search for the apartments. got to the akari agents in your area and then find something that will suit your requirement.

There is a big difference between what you do as a profession and what your IQama says, you can be a manager, but check if on what visa profession you r being hired , which is important to bring your family.

most of the places in RIYADH including alwazzarat area recently have seen a lot of changes and increase in the rents. Actual rent depends on the type of apartmen, but in this area, the general range for a 3 bed room aaprtment can range between 2500 -3000 SAR per month.

Thank you all for your assistance.

i am also from riyadh, coming from Dubai you might want to make sure to gain info about this city as it is very different from Dubai.  A lot less social life compared to Dubai, if with family it might be not that bad as it gives you more time to spend time with your family.  But for single person, there's not much social life here because of local customs etc... but people do adjust if they have friends it can be different...

How you cancel your current visa is not going to be a problem much... the rules concerning this keep changing every now and then, so it would be advisable to ask your counslate on the latest.
