Top 10 Employers in Dubai

Yve & Ted

Hi,

We are going to come and live and work in Dubai, but we need to do some research first - could any body help by letting me know who the Top 10 Employers are in Dubai - or a website that I could find the answer to this question?

Also, if you are not married and living together in Dubai - does that cause any problems?

Thanks

Yve & Ted

Hello Yve & Ted, welcome to °µÍø½ûÇø!
It is a difficult question to ask; in which domain are you? You might want to check job offers in Dubai Classifieds but also the classifieds in most UAE online newspapers.
There was a post a couple of months ago on the subject (non married couples) but I can't recall exactly in which forum of UAE it is located :(
Normally, as this is a Muslim country, it is not accepted for unmarried couples to live together; I heard sometimes there are checkups done on this!
Hope this helps

In order for a partner to obtain a residence visa, they must be sponsored by the spouse (the primary resident). If you cannot provide a valid (and legalized) marriage certificate, you won't get a residence visa.

The only way round it, is to come to UAE under your own employer/sponsor and apply for residence in your own right.

But...this country is still living in the dark ages when it comes to personal relationships and if you are caught living with an unmarried partner, the penalty is deportation at the minimum.

PLEASE DONT MENTION THAT THIS COUNTRY IS LIVING IN DARK AGES. NO ONE HAS A RIGHT TO CHALANGE THE LAWS OF COUNTRY WHERE YOU ARE LIVING WITH YOU OWN CHOICE. UAE IS NOT SAYIN ANY ON COME AND TAKE VISA AND LIVE HERE

Hello Housemaster,
Could you please avoid to write in capital letters? If you'd like to emphasis on something you want to make a point on you have the possibility to write in bold letters or even underline your words.
Thanks for your understanding!
