Hi All

I am Maddie, I am married to a Aussie born Tongan currently living in Australia with our 1 year old looking at buying a property in Tonga. This will be either just to holiday in or to move to Tonga and live in. We are obviously still young so need to work. We have no idea if we are able to do this and how we would go about this. We are off to Tonga in 2 weeks so I am researching what I can so we can look when we arrive.

Hey. Just stopping in to let you know if you haven't already figured this out but if you are not a male Tongan, you cannot own land and it most likely to be inherited from the father. I believe you can rent though.
