06/25/25  Is it OK to leave for a few days during this time with the three month protocol?

Going out of the country should not be a problem, especially if it's just for a few days, as long as you go and return during the three-month validity of the protocolo.  Will your Brazilian spouse be going with you?  If not and if the PF DO visit while you're away, s/he can just tell them that you're traveling and when you'll be back.  If you live in a building with a porteiro, that person could do the same for you if you'll both be traveling.

I have never heard of anyone receiving a home visit for an Authorization of Residency based on marriage, but I've never heard of anyone getting the kind of notice that you did, either.  Where in Brazil is this process taking place?

It was in São Paulo, but it was because of different addresses from the application and from the proof of address. When I filled the form out, her house was being fumigated and she was staying with a friend so I put the friends address cause I didn’t know if she was going back to the house, but there was like no way to edit the address so I emailed them and asked what should I do this? I just bring the proof of address for the new address But like one of the bill statement from the Internet company it had the current address and her previous address which was also another different address from the friends house so I’m pretty sure that’s what fucked me over.
