Hi there we are about to buy a car in Haiti and wondering if anyone has experienced the transfer of title in Haiti. Procedure, being an American buying a car there? Would love any info anyone has to share. Thanks!
You have to go together with the original owner (at least: the person whose name appears on the car papers) to the OAVCT and DGI offices in Delmas. Its a messy process and you are very likely to get overcharged without getting receipts for all ... Read More
