I havent got my change of status yet its in the works. There are exceptions to the "you cant change" rule and I am exploring one of these. A re-entry permit lets me leave the states and come back without the need for a visa. Read More

I applied for my work authority at the same time i did my change of status and travel permit. I got my work auth and travel permit back and i am still waiting for my interview for change of status, which is next week. Read More

Quick advice get married before you go and file before your visa runs out. Its cheaper and easier that way. If you file out of status you could get booted out so make sure that you get everything to them before the visa runs out. Get an I485, I765, ... Read More
