hi by tessa4
Hello everyone! This is my second day on this site. Still trying to get the feel of all of this. I would really like to meet anybody working or living in al jouf or qassim! I will be landing in Saudi in less than a month. I'd really like to know how ...

If possible, try to go to Al-Jouf and not Al-Qassim as it's more liberal there. Plus, the weather is more varied unlike Al-Qassim which is pretty much 11 months of burning sunshine and a month of winter. You need anything more specific just ask. :) Read More

Al Hokai Land Theme Park Riyadh by uglybetty
Does anyone know if this theme park is still open in Riyadh and can women go? I found the website but its not very helpful. Has anyone been to Al Hokai Land Theme Park? If this place is open, maybe we can all go for the day? :-) Thanks.

Al Hokair theme park is located between Exit 8 and 9 on the Eastern Ring Rd. It's nothing now to what it was before. Rusty gates, very old rides which I doubt are maintained that well and just old. Panorama Mall's (Al-Takhassussi st) theme park is ... Read More

What if women were allowed to drive in Saudi Arabia.. by RedGoblin
Dropped off children at school, did some grocery shopping and now heading to work. ItÂ’s the end of the week, so much to do and so little time to do it in. TodayÂ’s TO-DO list: 1. Police station, 2. Passport, department, 3. Bank, 5. Beach resort, boat ...

It's really sad that a lot of women are complaining about not driving when, as Somayya Jabarti summed up quite nicely, they're not able to do the simplest things because of silly laws. Being able to renew passports, national IDs and all other ... Read More
