Ouch! Tough time to be moving to PR for anybody. I would still rather be here than anywhere in the US but I have shifted my job search to Central and South America. The Government here has driven this Island to the brink of collapse. Read More

Moving to PR by Familyof5
Hello...we are a family with children that are planning on moving to the Dorado area. My husband will be working in Hato Rey. Can anyone tell me how the commute is? Thank you!

Commuting to SJ from Dorado is all about timing. I've been in Dorado since 2003. If you leave @ 6:10 AM you'll be in Hato Rey in 30 Minutes....If you leave Dorado at 6:15 AM you'll be in Hato Rey in 1 1/2 Hours. Try not to fall into the routine ... Read More

Need PR Moving Company recommendations by erininpr
We have to pick a moving company because we are leaving PR and all I'm getting are horror stories. Anyone have a good experience with movers here? Thanks!

We have relocated to the US and returned back to PR both times. Monte-Rosa Del Monte gave us the best service. I did "Lose" an expensive watch on one of the moves. We learned how to do it right when we returned to PR in 2010. We left Puerto Rico ... Read More

Poppycock! Puerto Rico is one of the most open minded cultures I've ever experienced. My experience since 1996 has been that Puerto Rican's do not like any foreigner that is demeaning or demonstrates a superiority attitude. I made the mistake of ... Read More

Have heard many good things about Dorado Academy...Tasis is good as well but I believe there may be a "Brand Name" factor going on there. You would LOVE living in Dorado. We've lived in the other "°µÍø½ûÇø" areas. We've been in Dorado since ... Read More

Hello fellow °µÍø½ûÇøs! There's only 2 places I'd live in PR. Dorado & Guanica. On extreme opposite sides of the Island. Dorado is my close to the city Oasis. I love it here. Guanica is the laid back coastal town that I would like to retire to in ... Read More
