ThaiLand, China only. I'm going to Bali in Feb, 2011:/
I'm from the Philippines and have only been to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia
hope to add new ones next year so I really have to find a good job after my training course. haha
I am at 12 and yet to cross the pond, so still counting...
8 countries i guess
saudi, Qatar, UAE, Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Turkey, oman
oman is the best for my job...
Egypt is nice for vacation..
the rest are fine...
Marianne wrote:I have only visited 15 countries. Some I have visited many times (like England and the Netherlands, for example) or several times (Spain), because I like to know places well rather than add "one more country" to my list. Which does not mean I don't keep adding on! But slowly...
However, I have the same "problem" as Olivier: now that I am an °µÍø½ûÇø on this side of the world, I tend to go back home (Belgium & France) more than discover new countries. I used to travel much more when I was in Europe. It takes a long time to get anywhere from where I am (American Northwest), and it's quite expensive too.
Next destination is Oaxaca, Mexico.
wow very good... im from Mexico and believe me u cannot choose better than Oaxaca to know real Mexico
Robthefrog, you are my hero,
how do you do it? please let me know... what do you do for living? i have been only in 4 countries apart from Spain.
Singapore, Malaysia, China.. plus I live at Indonesia, so 4 countries.
My next destination will be : Thailand!
i have visited malta(8 times) Italy-Spain-Germany(4 times)-France-Netherland-Potugal-TURKEY,,, USA,,,TUNISIA (4 TIMES),,ALGERIA,,EGYPT(7 TIMES),,QATAR,,,,NEXT MOROCCO
Country I have'nt been to only Canada, US, Australia, Africa, and some part of South America... cause I worked before on the cruise ship...lol... free travel!
43 countries - to date since 1991 still adding just about to add 7 more on a fast trip in next 33 days time! some are great but hm a lot have turned to crap - once you would go back for a second dose of a country! but not so much now ! ive just about run out of places that i wanted to see !
Stayed Russia 3.5 years Thailand 1 year, Indonesia (yuk)6 months got stuck there with work---- what a nasty place !!!
lol lol.!Then back to boring Australia !
The rest of the countries various from 3 days to 3 weeks a time a couple for say 5 weeks each - thats it - i love the globetrotting thing!
It's - stupid things like work and bills get in the way!!! & you run out of dollars at times -------which is pretty rude ! nobody has our interest at heart lol !
Well there are two clear categories here I think!
1) Where have you lived and worked?
My answers: Italy, Northern America, England, UK, Switzerland, South Africa and Dubai
2) Visits, other than the above
Germany, Netherlands, Kenya, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Austria, Malaysia, Mauritius, Sardinia, Hong Kong, Bahamas, France, Canada, Austria.
3)Still want to visit:
Spain, Greece, Turkey, Egypt, Syria, Cyprus, Maldives, Seychelles,
South America, Russia, Czech Republic, Ireland, Scotland and on and on until I have seen the whole of the world.
That was fun, travel always creates a sense of excitement.
Only 6 country mostly Asia, china, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand,Taiwan and Dubai
Wish I hav opportunity to visit Europe and America.
Thanks to airasia for the 0% price ticket only need to pay airport tax
I am at 11 for the time being. I started travelling just recently so I have a lot to catch up. Some are lucky starting earlier with school trips discovering the neighboring countries.
In some countries I have been more than once and in more than one city. However, I have all visited them not for business reasons: France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Vatican, Hungary, Slovakia, Bulgaria. I hope I will visit more soon.
hey, ive visited 13 countries.... all holidays....but i do travel alot, im suprised of the really small number!... which probably means we should select a new destination each time.
india, singapore, malaysia, australia, macau, hongkong ,switzerland, france, germany, dubai, indonesia, thailand, nepal....
I have been in many - about 30 countries but I need to say that I would love to live in Japan- even thought there are earthquakes
It is 40+, but I used to travel extensively for work.

I never knew it was a competition. I think people looking to collect the most stamps on their passports are missing out. I know people who've stayed only a few days in some countries. What can you learn in a few days? Quality beats quantity any day.
It is not a competition, isn't it? Quantity and Quality, both count, I guess :-)
the trick is not how many countries but how many continents i have been to all including the antartic
