What would you have done if you hadn't moved to a new country?

Probably i wouldn't have to learn another language
i would've stayed with my family
i wouldn't have known what it feels like to be a foreigner

All my mates in my old trade have gone bust and are either on the dole or doing crap minimum wage jobs, waiting for winter to end so they don't get frozen on the way to their horrible jobs.

Some people told me I was mad to move out here, I don't think so.

I would have become a movie star and right now I'd be at some glamorous party with Tom Hanks & Julia Roberts.

Obviously I made the right choice.

Conclusion :My life would be ordinary.

I would probably have been less confused. Now that I've lived abroad and seen how many possibilities there are in the world, it is hard to choose just one place to live!

Also, having a life partner of a different nationality makes the scale of decisions you make together much bigger.

Finally, I am working on learning my fourth language and sometimes the words from the other three get all mixed in.

I don't think I'll ever confuse Chinese with English.  They're just too different.
