In my life I loved someone so much that I was able to physically connect and identify with him.  When we parted I got sick and I had to be in the hospital being monitored for 2 weeks 24/7.  I finally got better and as time went on it got easier.  Ever since (for the last 40 years) every time I had a heartache I compared it to my first love's pain and I knew that if I can survive the first love's pain, I can survive anything!  That is what has helped me get over certain pains! It will get better; I know that for a fact, unless you make the wrong decision. How I moved on?, Instinctively I knew not to do anything, not to force anything and let every day wash over me without any effort on my part. I read a lot. I have always loved reading but then again, I am a different generation than you are. I still read.  For me reading is like opening a window and watching something happening outside your house! I think the key is to not do anything extreme or too different that will take you out of your comfort zone too much. You may need a nudge and not a shove!
