Natural disasters
Have you ever lived (or now living) in a country that is most susceptible to natural disasters??
Do you have any experience to share with us?
Have you ever helped victims in such conditions?
Franckly speaking nothing i faced can be called natural disaster...............
But yes once it happened, during the time of fogs, one newly married couple went to picnic with their family members while they were returning and i too was returning with my friends from the same picnic spot......in the night time driver couldn't able to see anything and their jeep went away from the road and about to fall in a river but got holds in a tree and all were crying......we all friends stop our vehicle and pulled everybody from the jeep and also brought back the jeep into the road.........
Regards,
Anil
I have experienced hurricanes on the east coast of the US, Blizzards with 7.5 FEET of snow in 3 days, earthquakes in California, So no more for me thank you

We helped the victims with supplying, water, foods, cloths, money...
but many lives and properties destroyed and a lot of government's money had to be spent on rebuilding life and land.
We faced almost every year in some part of the country as floods or cyclone.......and as you said it happens........govt. money got spent and help by locals......
My natural disaster was averted as, during the first earthquake I ever experienced, I was lucky enough to be sitting on the toilet.
To add detail, I hadn't long moved to Java when the event stuck. The seat was swaying from side to side, with me holding on for dear life.
My underwear was saved.
This, I should add, is a true story.

What about us? We too face for earth-slips, floods or droughts always.Â

You know we the nearby countries have the same problems and good thing is that we always come out and starts the life again...........
I went to Cebu in November 2013. I have never seen such horrible devastation.

Were you off on your adventures?Â
Was bed-sitting at a hospital mostly.
My ex-mother-in-law
She is now old and has no daughter to look-after her. I was one of her good friends when she was working with me in the same ofis.
She phoned me one-day telling about her condition so I helped her. Thats it.
