Filipina woman with an Egyptian man

GuestPoster769

I have lived/worked in the Middle East (Gulf) for almost 35 years in Project Management (Resourcing) so I believe that experience gives me the knowledge to advise on multiple issues pertaining to life/work etc in the Gulf.

Filipino's like all Asians and those from the Sub-Continent are treated and classed as TCN's (Third World Country National's) and are employed chiefly to perform menial tasks and as a consequence given zero respect. This is in abundance right across the Middle East (including Dubai) and I do not believe it will change.

I have recruited thousands of people/workers from Asia and the Sub-Continent over the years BUT each Company I have been with at the time has always treated it's staff irrespective of Nationality with respect, dignity and humanity. I am sorry to say that the number of Companies in the Middle East who also apply this method are very, very few and far between.

People from Asia and the Sub-Continent go to the Middle East to earn money to enable a better life style and take care of their Families - They are Human Beings like the rest of us.

The only resolve open to you is leave.

In fact bad behaviors had no home and are not related to specific country so we can not generalize for all the people ... we faced more than you got for other famous countries.
That was my advice otherwise u will not go out of home in future as most of the world going to the worst

You are missing the point....

Egypt also does not have a good track record with the atrocities carried out by Gamal Abdul Nasser and neither has the UK for that matter. The point is that the Gulf States treat their main workforce (Asians and those from the Sub-Continent) VERY poorly.

And what is the point if I may politely asked?
You are categorizing people depending on their countries. *** If she wants to try her luck working in other countries so let her. It is her human right. We can not take that away from her. I will just hope that she will be treated fairly. I still have faith in Humanity.

If you care to re-read and understand the text from the original source and my response you will find that I did NOT categorize ANYBODY and I take offence to your insinuations. I pointed out the FACT that 99% of people who hail from Asia and the Sub-Continent are treated almost like slaves in many of the Middle Eastern Countries (including Egypt). The WHO (World Health Organisation) has conducted it's own surveys on the situation in the M.E. and many Governments have been advised to change their approach' to °µÍø½ûÇøriate Labour and I know this because I was part of it !

Just to chime in, that's true, the data doesn't lie. It's not hasty generalization, just proof that Asian workers are prone to abuse in the region. If it wasn't an issue then the recent announcement that the kafala system will be abolished in Qatar won't be celebrated as a step in the right direction.
