Taxation and Monetary Repatriations

Hope to get some answers here but there again, these may have been asked before.

What are the rates of taxation of salary earned and is there a limit on monetary repatriations if I decide to send home my earnings?

Please share your experiences with Moneygram, Western Union, etc.

Are there any restrictions on the amount ?

Finally I managed to send money to India, thru Western Union, thru local Bank Millenium.

I was not aware that there is any upper limit per day, It seems it is only USD 2,000/- per day, for India.

You need your national id or you have to use somebody else麓s id. But that is okay. You need to pay some fees in local currency, to that person, as a good gesture.

Fee charged is USD 115 for USD 2,000/-. It is costly but the money reaches fast.
