My top tips would be
1.聽 Learn to speak some French before you come
2. Make sure you are very clear on what your company will be providing
3. Make sure and have health treatment including dental before you come. In many places health care is extremely limited.
4. Be willing to be very flexible, depending on where you come from life here is very different.
6. Try and build relationships with the local people, say hello and seek out opportunities to assist in your community somewhere.
