Traveling to Egypt

Guest7653

Hi! New member here. I'm married to egyptian and had traveled once to egypt with tourist visa. After we got married here in abu dhabi, they said we needed particular stamps in our MC from abu dhabi foreign affairs and got a stamp also from the embassy of egypt. However, I'm still anxious because I may not be able to enter egypt with all of these without any kind of visa. Has anyone here experienced this? Got married in any part of UAE and wanting to travel to egypt with their spouse? Thanks!

Unless you are changing your name after marriage, you and your husband can travel to Cairo and pay the $25.00 tourist VISA at the airport to enjoy the country as a tourist. Unless you want to live or do any legal transaction, I would better consult with a lawyer, otherwise there shouldn't be an issue with you visiting the country.

The guy from embassy told us that if we have these stamps, we can enter. I will try to confirm with the embassy. Inshallah. Thank you very much
