Well, you are lucky, because Zamalek is a very nice area and it is clean, also it is near to many places.

Concerning the Yoga classes,you will find alot of places here to learn and play Yoga, am playing Yoga in body shapers gym in mohandseen, the link is bodyshapersegypt.com

The Indian Cultural Center in downtown is the best Yoga center in Cairo. I used to go there for two years. Trainers there are Indians( Mawlana Azad cultural center), they are very cooperative.

usually practicing sport doesnt need to go to its origin or I should live in china to practice Kung fu hehehehe

but we can go to trusted well organized training center and it would be enough for anybody to practice his or her lovely sport.

if you need to know Yoga by profesional way it s better to go.. becouse it s important wich education you have

all countries with Yoga are only copy of this

and dont argue with me;)
, becouse i know it more, like a professiaonal fitness trainer

dont worry about it i will go to india for youga and i will go to china for kungfun and or better i can go to indian professial trainer i think land is not important but the trainer is very important ,right ?????

look, you can go in every place wich  you want)))

but if you are only begginers in fitness , you can go to egyptian trainer of Yoga, but for people who are professional and want to improve it s better to go to India...

and you know a lot of trainers from India caming to teach Yoga to russia, becouse they are master in it...

and you even havnt right to think  about am i professional or not)))

I understand that you want to meet other Indians, unfortunatly Im English but I would love to meet with you to go to yoga, I will arrive in Cairo tomorrow and hopefully join a class within the next week so we can go together and I think Daisy/sweet november wants to come also.

A new yoga studio opens up in Zamalek tonight.  I am on my way to the Hatha class now, but they have lots of styles. It's called 'On the Mat'  You will find it on google me thinks.
Don't bother with Alsawy, it's hideous!  They do a lot of good things there.  Yoga is not one of them.
I think 'fitness life' gets her perspective from certain local 'youtube teachers' who can't sit crossed legged never mind do yoga.  I've been to a few of those classes.  There is no such thing as accreditation or quality standards here.(moderated)
Of course you can't go to China to study Kung-fu.  All the masters were killed during the cultural revolution.  Better to follow the remaining living masters to Malaysia or Taiwan.
