hi im new to this site and have a few questions if anyone is willing to/know the answers to them.

Does anyone know how many English people are living in Hurghada/ Egypt?

Does anyone know what the tourist situation is in Cairo/Hurghada now? Has it returned to normal yet or not? I know it wont be the same as it was before the revolution but i just wanted to know some stats to be reassured really.

Hope someone can help

The tourism is getting slowly back to normal, but not as secure as before. All waiting for the elections to clear up the situation and to know what to do as a next step. Till then, nobody can make a prediction.

you will find many English people living in Kawther (near Esplanada) and also a lot bought an apartment in Oasis.

Sorry, I don't know really. I only have been living in Hurghada since September last year, so I can't speak for how much it differs right now to what it was before. Sorry that I am not really helpful. I am original from Germany and lived the past 10 yrs before coming to Egypt in the US.
