Watersport and swimming in the sea?

Hi, I'm moving to Libreville and would like to practice watersports like SUP, windsurfing, kayak or just swimming in the sea. Is this possible from the beaches in the city? Is the water clean enough? I guess everyone has their own standard for when this is ok or not, but I would like to hear from people who do this or who have some direct factual information about where you can and cannot swim in the sea. thanks!
