Seafood in ghana????

Are there any places for decent seafood, like calamarie, lobster ,. prawns etc I can buy fresh from and cook it myself?? or a decent restaurant with seafood anyone can recommend perhaps??

Tema fish market is a place to get fresh fish. Atlantic lobster which is on Oxford St near Papaye supply fresh fish and will deliver. 020923494/0202923497. You can also look on noworriesghana.com

How far is tema fish market from accra / cantonments??

Thanks for the info atlantic lobster will definetly try - how quick are they with delivery? is it fresh or frozen?

Tema is about 30 km from Accra and you can get there via the motorway. I have never used Atlantic Lobster myself so I can't tell you. Another seafood restaurant is Captain Hook's near the American Embassy and the fish there is very good.

I would suggest Salvatore's, Mission St. in Osu off Papaye, opposite a Casino
they have a terrace on the 1st floor, Italian ambiance and hospitality
