Work Permit-how long does it take to process?

Hiya

My office has just submitted my class A work permit application. I was wondering how long it has taken others to get their permit approved.聽 Immigration, of course, is saying 6 weeks but I'm hearing it can take much longer?

Generally everything in Nairobi that deals with government offices takes longer than indicated...Suggestion: Establish an insider at the said government office, "buy him a beer" and it should get sorted in even less than 2 weeks.
