Palachak, Muslim women are covered when out. At home, they can do whatever they want (as long as there are no strangers)...

I am a Muslim woman, and I don't think that my choice of lingerie is due to the fact that I cover myself in public (nor do I feel repressed in any way)... The main question of the post has been answered - we can wear what we want in the privacy of our homes, in front of family/other women, etc. Also, remember, just because we are supposed to dress modestly (no tights, waist-synching belts, short skirts, etc) in public, doesn't mean that every Muslim woman abides by this, which is why you still often see these items on many Muslim women.

Well, in Dubai you can see (or imagine) how they are dressed behind the black dress just looking at the "hot" sandals that they are wearing. Lucky husbands.

I have to admit everytime I am in a lingerie store, I see the muslem women purchasing the trashiest of items. None of which me or my non-conservative friends would dare try.

I think they are very repressed in public, so they have to let it out at home.

now come on girls, dont't you have at least one little sexy/thrashy item in your drawer? why should the libyan women not buy that stuff just because they are all covered up? they are women just like us and if they dare more than ourselves or our friends do, good for them. anyway, as per my observations,arab women in general do have a flaire for feminine incentives.

Let's not discuss what's on whose drawer, please ;-)
