Shisha smoking
Hi,
Would really like to sit and smoke some shisha with the QueenOfKludge, but haven't seen too many options around. Don't want to be insensitive to a male environment or anything.
Can anybody recommend a place where my good lady wouldn't feel uncomfortable? Also, how much does the pastime cost here in Libya? Only been here a week, so am still trying to suss it all out - must say though, this forum has made the move so much easier than it could have been.  Thanks to all posters, sincerely.
Cheers,
K
We go to Sarai in the Green Square, some of our female friends smoke shisha there, we have not noticed anyone obviously very offended or outraged. The cuisine is not so good, but the place is ok to come and smoke shisha, many °µÍø½ûÇøs there.
at Alwaha center in Hai Alandlous ,, there s place for shisha and there r many females there who smoke shisha or Rixos Alnaser hotel , and for sure u will enjoy it there ,, cos the place sooo nice ,,,
KingofKludge,
Welcome to Libya.
I refer you to an excellent article on the subject, by Sophie Mcbain in the Tripoli Post:

There are some physical/alternative treatments that can speed the healing process that will make the mind more readily receptive and accept information quickly. Treatments such as Reiki, Crystal and Color therapies can be affective and aid recovery. The faster the body heals the faster the mind becomes receptive to training.

Just a quick word on Saraya: A couple of months ago I was there with a female friend and the waiter told her she wasn't allowed to smoke shisha because apparently 'the police don't like it'.
I think the best place for comfort would be Rixos, but it is ridiculously overpriced.
Hello everyone,
Just going to this discussion thread, and I wanted to . Please do not find me stupid or mean - I know it is irrelevant

@devnty06 -> You are completely irrelevant I think, can you please elaborate, how can it contribute to the discussion!
Regards!

Yes, you definitely are looking for Alwaha center shisha place in hai andalus, ohh man every other mofo is smoking there.
The best places for women to smoke shisha are Assaraya by the Green Square, Alwahat Centre In Hai Alandaus and Layali Tunis (Tunisian Nights)in Hai Alandalus.
Well assaraya is average but i find ALOULA for SHISHA really good. The service is quick. It is right next to o2 facing the sea. Nice environment though they need to improve their exhaust systems.
Don't smoke in Al Saraya. I was there with my fellow countrymen and when I asked the waiter to check the charcoal of our shisha, he went,
"Tsk,tsk, no madam.. no shisha for you. Big problem...tsk tsk.. Cigarette ok, Shisha no." with his finger waving at my face as if I was a little girl.
They say, Rixos is more female-friendly, but Al Saraya definitely No.

I have seen °µÍø½ûÇøs smoking shisha in al saraya. I believe these incidents are sporadic but still those egyptian waiters are just unbearable.
