8 out of 10 people say sun-tue are holidays but with (not-official yet) thing in the end!!! i'm so fed up with this uncertainty!!! does any1 know for sure?
I heard one of the oil companies confirmed it as holidays and advised its employees to practice caution and avoid travelling!!!
Oh dear, you guys don't know much about the history here do you. 1st September is the celebration of the revolution. The leader came to power on 1st September 1969. On the 40th anniversary there was a huge celebration in Tripoli, the city center was closed off then.

Not to raise everyones hopes too much but, the British School has just confirmed tomorrow is public holiday. Not sure if this will extend to °µÍø½ûÇøs though
i'm in the city...in front of the port and this road is closed except for the incessant motorcades and accompanying vehicles with sirens going full blast. glad i've got double glazed windows.
