... in advance. I know this has probably been done to death but I get some conflicting information so I wanted to check. My main issue is that I can't get through to the Libyan embassy in my country so cannot ask them these questions...
1. I want to visit my Libyan friend - do I need to have a full tour organised?
2. Can I get my friend registered as a tour guide or something so that he can make the request for me?
3. I live in Switzerland (but have an EU passport). There is no reply from the Libyan embassy in Bern - does anyone know if it is still open or have a working number for it?
4. I saw in another post that a bank statement was required for the visa request - I've not seen this anywhere else - is it still required?
I'm aware of all the other regulations (cash, israeli stamp, passport expiry, passport translation)
