dear all
I am not in Tripoli anymore but my husband is. And, understandably, I don't think he is giving us the full picture and I hate to continue nagging him at this point.
Our family very much depends on the messages you guys post (yes, I do follow international news, but by experience I know that you (and I) know Tripoli waaay better than those journalists who have never been to Libya. I also know Tripoli is not Bingazi, but somehow that does not make me feel any more comfortable.)
I wanted to express how much we appreciate your informative posts during these last few days. Please keep us informed and keep yourselves safe. I know you'll be OK but will go through some hardships.
My very best to you all, please keep on posting (so that I can ask meaningful questions to my husband, hah hah hah, that is my ulterior motive, if you have not noticed!)

Hey FK! Situation in Tripoli was pretty normal in the evening & I hope it will stay the same so don't worry and hope for the best.

NB: Dont trust these ppl on twitter n fb, most of them are spreading rumor's!!!

R U in Janzoor? I have just heard that there are heavy shootings and chantings around Gargaresh moving towards the West. Be careful

Thanks for your concern :)There were some chantings but I can confirm there was no firing, gladly. Received a call from the employer to not to come to the office tomorrow.

Any EU citizens in Libya that can see these messages, there is talk on Al Jazeera that they are organising a plan of evacuation for EU citizens.

Not sure where to post this, not sure if the internet has any access at the moment
