Argh!!! So it's true a libyan co-worker had told me that Regata will be a military compound for the freedom fighters. Well, I guess we will not be seeing any of our company guesthouses there.
Sorry to be this intrusive Gernademan but I feel compelled to ask since I am sincerely trying to have a proper picture in my head before we head back to Tripoli:
In one of your previous responses (to me about Souk Talad) I got the impression that you are in Tripoli and comfortably wondering around. Now I realize that you have not been to Regatta (where you have personal belongings) yet!...??..
So, am I to understand, daily life is not "that" normal and regular yet that it prevents you from taking a trip to a place where we the °µÍø½ûÇøs used to frolic?
At this point, based on this message of yours, my mental image is now very different: the city still is a war zone, albeit a recovering one, right?
Your response might simply be "DOH!, what were you thinking stupid lady!" of course! :-)
