The painting in the picture is incredibly ornate: has a somewhat Baroque-ish decorative exuberance--Santa's jacket looks like a baggy justaucorps with those 17th century turned back, broad cuffs with large buttons and contrast facing. I'd LOVE to know the name of the painter/artist (I wonder if it was done digitally or entirely by hand). If anyone can trace the picture on google or know where it came from let me know. I couldn't get the URL.
I'd say Victorian, considering their love of all things gaudy
