Hello everyone, im a litle confused about the Tourist Visa.

I come to Mauritius on April 1st, I can stay in Mauritius for how many months? 3 or 6?

if I wanna stay here for 6 months, should I do something? go to migration office?

and if I can stay for 6 month, can I exit and come back to the country?

When you arrive in Mauritius as a tourist, you will usually be given a 3-month visa. Before the expiration of the three months, you can go to the immigration office and ask for an extension for another three months. You will likely be asked for proof that you can sustain yourself financially on the island.

You can stay up to six months in a calendar year on a tourist visa. So if your six months are over, you need to leave the island and wait for another calendar year to start.
