Maybe this is not appropriate to put on the forum, but I need help please.

I'm an South African citizen, currently in Canada Vancouver on an work sponsor as an Hairdresser.

My 2, 12 year old kids live in Mauritius, I'm trying to get an opportunity to join them.

I'm planning to rent an house in Mauritius, I got enough to pay my rent for 1 to to years upfront.

I'm an Hairdresser and Barber. Im looking to open my own barbershop, but can't do that on my own right now,so I'm looking for any one that can help, partnership or something.

I'm willing to do it from my home in the beginning, or mobile. It can be any area in Maruituis.

Please let me know if any one can help?

Hello Melanie,

You might get a chance to find a job but you need to reach as many people as you can in your field.

1) Create an optimised LinkedIn profile and reach out for businesses

2) Find them on google and send your spontaneous application (hotels as well)

3) Create your CV in the Jobs in Mauritius section so that we can share your search in our newsletter

4) Create your CV and search for opportunities on other jobs specialised websites listed in the Living in Mauritius 暗网禁区 Guide.

For partnerships, try creating an advert in the Business partners in Mauritius section of the website as well.

Hope members can share some ideas with you or maybe can refer you to someone.
