This salary structure means that the starting salary for this grade is Rs 14,200/-. After confirmation in your post, you will get a yearly increment of Rs 400/- in July of each year. You salary will then become Rs 14,600/- and after two years it will reach Rs 15,000/- . As from this salary, the yearly increment becomes Rs 500/- per year, etc. However, in addition to this there is a general raise in the salary every July on the basis of the Cost of Living Index.

The National Computer Board is a parastatal body, and as such applications from foreigners are normally not accepted. Still, there are many openings in the private sector in the field of IT and with quite interesting packages.
