Dragon Boats/Paddling clubs

StephanieDesveaux

Hello Forum,

I've been living on the island for a good year now and am interested in getting involved into some water sports - specifically a paddling group of some sort.

I've noticed that there are some Dragon Boats at Caudan waterfront and am wondering if there is anybody who knows whether there is a club on the island (preferably in the North region) that is involved in Dragon Boating or canoeing etc.

My friend and I are definitely beginners but are looking to join to train and socialise.

If anybody has any information we would be most appreciative!

Hello Stephanie and welcome to both of you on °µÍø½ûÇø and in Mauritius! :)

Unfortunately I've got no idea about this but maybe somebody else on the forum does and I hope you'll soon get a response.

Did you notice that we have a gathering going on on 26th of June? It would be nice if you could join us! The more the merrier! Here's the link to all the information: /forum/viewtopic.php?id=34589

Hope to see you soon

Should anyone have info of paddling-canoeing in the WEST around tamarin/black river/la preneuse, i would be a greatful recepient of news and details. been thinking about buying a canoe as i could leave for excursions right from my house, but would be interested in joining a group and going out on the water on a regular basis at weekends.

My wife got into dragon boating in Singapore and is keen to start up again. If you do manage to find a group of paddlers, please drop me a line as she would like to join. Cheers.
