To go or not to go.....

Zippy15

I have an opportunity to move to Mauritius in the next 3-6 months and would like to know from other °µÍø½ûÇøs living there what it's like.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi Kenjee,

Thank you for your post.

My boyfriend has a job starting in Mauritius in September and what I really want to know is whether I can come along with him and whether I can get a visa - do you know if this is possible?

Thanks

You can get a visa.  I think it depends on your purpose of visit.

Thanks clintonjay - I want to live with him in Mauritius but will not have a job straight away - and I was wondering whether he could get me a visa - is this possible?

Have a look at the invest in Mauritius website for further insight into the different types of long term visas.

Here's what would be pertinent to your status

>>Dependents of Occupation/ Residence Permit holders, namely spouse, children up to the age of 24 and common-law partner, are also eligible to apply for a residence permit in Mauritius.
