Hello, I am in the initial thinking of moving away from the UK.聽 I am very interested in Mauritius and I will be visiting later on in the year.聽 Is there a social group that I could come along to and meet some of you to get some more info on how to get work etc.聽 I am a single independent woman and this will be my first move away from home other than holidays!

Hi Jacqui. I live in the UK and have been visiting Mauritius for 22 years ( my wife is a British born Mauritian ). Have a look at this website for jobs鈥yjob.mu聽 its packed with jobs. Also if you are on Facebook there is jobs.mu page and various similar others if you type 'Mauritius Jobs' in the search bar. If you have specific skills, i.e. teaching, finance etc there will be numerous opportunities for you as an ex-pat. Cheers. Matt

hello Jacqui . Its true that there are numerous jobs available here in mauritius. As for me , i rent house and am a taxi driver. So if you need anything regarding those two things so i will be glad to help you
