Hi everyone,

Do you follow fashion trends in Mauritius? Every country and every culture has its own dress code. As far as you are concerned, have you changed the way you dress?

Can one easily find fashion boutiques in Mauritius? Are clothes expensive there? Or cheap?

What do Mauritians usually wear or like to wear the most?

I have a gripe about shopping for clothes in Mauritius. I can never find decent cotton skirts or tops in the shops, only the ubiquitous polyester which is the worst material you can possibly wear in hot humid summers.
Cotton clothing that I have come across is very expensive and very limited in choice and store.
So if anyone can recommend a decent clothing outlet please do share!

From what I see most people buy their clothes out of the country.

The issue of dressing depends with individuals, a point to take note is Culture is not static but dynamic. For some other reasons if certain culture beliefs are into law, it聽 might be necessary to dress the way that doesn't infringe others.
