Introducing myself

sujitah

Hi! I'm Sujata, my husband and I are retirees, Indian citizens presently living in India.
We have long wanted a 2nd home outside India as we're used to living in different countries with multi-ethnic populations.
Mauritius has attracted me for the same reason plus its natural beauty.
When travel restrictions are lifted, we hope we can travel to Mauritius. This would be our 1st trip and we would like to use our time there to assess its suitability as a 2nd home.
We would at that time, appreciate getting to know about customised guide services that can help us with answers to the questions most important to us, as senior citizens.
And, of course, we will be doing some sightseeing as well!
In the meantime, I am happy to be part of this group. I think I can learn a lot from exchanges among members!!

Hello Sujita,

Warm welcome to both of you  :)

Hopefully everything will get back to normal soon and we will be able to welcome you to the island. In the meantime, if you have any question, feel free to drop them on this thread. We will gladly guide you.

There are options for permenant residency for retirees and also a new One year Premium visa for those who would be interested in taking a break in Mauritius or testing the waters before actually diving in.

Should you want to gather more information about visas, you will find relevant infos here :
