A marriage contract can be concluded in accordance with the local administrative procedures of the country of residence, provided that the conditions of offer and acceptance, capacity, absence of legal impediments, proof of dowry, and the presence of two male Muslim witnesses and a legal representative for minors are met. According to Article 14 of the Family Code, a civil marriage must be registered with the Moroccan authorities (consular services).

@LelaLu hi im zouhair from marrakech . Congratulations on your marriage, sister. In Morocco, being married by Muslim law involves a religious ceremony, typically officiated by an authorized religious figure. It requires adherence to Islamic principles, including the exchange of vows, the presence of witnesses, and the payment of a dowry (mahr). Additionally, the marriage should be registered with the relevant authorities to be legally recognized.
